World of Birds

Today was such a nice day, we decided to go to The World of Birds in Houtbay.

They keep so many different birds. Some are beautiful, others ugly. Some have been injured in the wold and are being nursed back to health at the sanctuary.

Some of the birds were friendly, like the parrot in the picture. He wouldn't let us leave. While others were friendly at first, until they lulled Ivan into a false sense of security and then bit him. Once by a Hadida, and then by a monkey. Sorry Ivan, but it was lank funny.
