High Tea at Mount Nelson

Tea is served in a glass tea pot that brings out the colour of the myriad teas.

It was a beautiful day and the perfect opportunity to go for High tea at the Mount Nelson in Cape Town.

Graham and I were invited by his sister-in-law to join them and her mother who was visiting from the Karoo. There were so many different types of tea and the buffet was amazing, but we we perfect gentlemen.

After gorging ourselves on food from the buffet, we headed up to Tafelberg Road to look over Cape Town, a view that Andelene hadn't seen in 36 years. Just when we thought we had had enough chocolate, we drove over Kloofnek and down to Camps Bay for Sinful ice-cream.

We ended the evening with fish and chips at the Waterfront. Yes, it was a day of decadance and indulgence.
